I'm a customer of Tommy's Gunpacks and wanted to share a notice I received today: all Original Gunpacks are being let go for shipping costs ONLY, or $15.00. This is an amazing bargain if you're interested in a high-quality fanny-pack-style handgun-carrying waistpack. See the details at the link below.

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't considered using a fanny pack for carry before, but this deal seems to be the best way to give it a try.

Great packs, If you ride a bike or like to hike they are perfect. I hiked about 10 miles a couple weeks ago with a 229 in a medium pack and never felt any discomfort at all. The pack stayed nice and tight around my waist. Customer service is also outstanding. When I ordered my first pack from them a couple of months ago they sent me the wrong pack. I sent an email to them, they promptly replied and shipped me off another pack. 100% satisfied.

The 229 fits in the medium ?? is it totally tight?

wow, I thought it would take the large for that, but good to hear the 229 fits because I have no question that my 239 will fit in there.

I'm surprised the 229 fits in the medium. I was just doing measurements on their charts and according to them even my 239 would require a large.

The 229 fits great in the medium. When I did the measurements I thought I would need a large also. I posted the question on here and some members said they use the medium for the 229. So I went off of their advice and ordered the medium. Perfect fit. I have a 229 SAS Gen II, I don't know if that makes much of a difference over a 229 with a rail.

Here is a link to the question I asked on pack size.

Well for $15, I just ordered a medium in addition to the large I ordered earlier. He's hoping my Smith 629 Mountain Gun will actually fit in the large since they do not show the extra large as available with this promotion.

It's absolutely worth it for the $15 to just have one around in that instance you could use it. I have a large that I've carried my P228 in, but I have heard the medium will work. My wife just asked me if they make one in pink so I'm hoping I can get in on this still and get her one.

Thanks for the tip!

Thanks! Like some others, I may not use it a lot but it'll be nice to have for hikes, camping, and that sort of thing. I picked up a large for my SP2022. The medium looked like it could possibly work but was cutting it pretty close.

I have a leather one, but it fits only my 230 or smaller. My larger pieces don't fit.

So I just ordered one of these. Price is right.

It is really nice to have options. I like to use my pack when I ride. Very portable.

Hey glad you all have taken advantage of this. I'm debating a second pack myself, having purchased a large in dark blue on an earlier $12 plus shipping promo they ran a few months back.

For the poster who asked about a 629 MG fitting in the large-sized pack, I'd give a qualified "maybe" on that. I have tried fitting my 4-inch M28-2 (comparble size-wise to your 629 and fitted with Ahrends Retro Target stocks, a good bit slimmer and slightly "shorter" than factory target stocks) in the large Tommy Gun pack...it's tight, real tight.

I didn't have time to try basic movements with it like sitting, driving, etc. It should work great for walking, light-hiking, etc. at the very least with a gun that size. I'll try a little field-testing over Veteran's Day and see how the combo works and post a report / pics. This same pack has given stellar service with a P225 and P229 I used to own.

These packs really are just great products and Tommy's / Kickin A's customer service is top-notch. They have a pretty extensive lineup of goods beyond their signature packs, too.

Oh, someone asked about the original price on these (sorry to not be "quoting" the posts properly here, I'm logged-in mobile at the moment). I am thinking they were in the vicinity of $60-$80 each when sold at full-price. They've offered (and maybe still do) an "Original" pack that's being promo'd and an "Elite" pack that offered various upgrades.

I have a Taurus Model 66 with a 4 inch barrel (same size as a S&W k-frame.) It will fit in a large Gunpack with no room to spare.

Am I missing something or misreading? I tried it and there was nearly $14 shipping. It says free pack promo so I guess I'm confused. I wasn't able to get any promo code to work.
