Sigfreund, one of your earlier posts first prompted me to start inspecting my carry ammo visually. I've read your previous posts on the importance of the case gage but I've managed to back-burner buying one.

One of the marks of a great teacher or instructor are the opportunities they use to teach...thanks for all you do to pass info onto other shooters!

Please put me down for the 9mm gage and thank you.

Awesome Awesome! .45 please. I have actually had a problem with my chambered round because I constantly press check. Eventually that one goes range and a new round replaces it!!

Well, the karma offering is closed.

Thanks to all who entered and kudos to everyone for taking an interest in this issue.

I will notify the winners tonight by e-mail and after I've gotten a good mailing address from the three lucky folks (due back to me by this time Tuesday), I'll post who they were.

Congratulations to Modern Day Savage, JohnHoliday, and TexCaboCat, the karma winners.

After the response I received to this thread, I'm sorry I don't have gages for everyone who entered. I have benefited by the posts and generosity of many of you. In particular the contributions of 9mmepiphany, PPGMD, Crescendo, kjdoski, and detroit192 immediately come to mind, but I've no doubt forgotten others.

Thanks again to everyone for participating.

Sigfreund...
once again you have brought up an " issue "
that more people should think about and put into practice.

I didn't enter, because I already do this.
but it was sure thought provoking for many.

good job.
