Thanks for your generosity and concern. I used to do this years ago with every .06 round I was taking on a hunting outing ...why have I not done it today with rounds my life may depend on? I am again converted; thank you. Please enter me for a 9 mm guage.

Sigfreund, thanks for the (what should be) obvious message. I reload .45 and always check my rounds in a case gauge, but have never thought about using one on my factory SD ammo. Why I never thought about it even after using it on my reloads as well as discussing factory ammo problems is beyond me.
Since you are offering, please throw me in for a 9mm gauge as I do not own one yet. And thank you for your many posts. I have learned a lot from you in the past year and a half.

Thanks for the informative heads up! I checked Dillon and they are selling for $12.95. Not too much $ for the peace of mind. No need to include me in the Karma, I'm getting one now!

I'd would like to be in the 40 S&W drawing. Thanks!

Please put me in for the 9mm drawing,I check my carry ammo now by dropping each cartridge into the chamber of my field stripped barrel, and visual checking primers, and feeling of them for flush.
As always, excellent information and an excellent karma sigfreund. Please include me for the .45 guage.
I am ordering one for my 9mm. They do not list .357 sig. Would I simply use the .40 for that? If so, I will also be ordering that.

The 40 S&W gage won't work for 357 SIG. Dillon doesn't have one of their gages for the 357, but you can get the Wilson case gage which is similar, but about twice the price. It's what I use. See here.

Another test is to roll the SD cartridges across a smooth, flat surface. If the bullet appears to wobble it's either malformed or not seated properly.
I use a spare barrel to gauge .40 S&W, so I'd like a 9X19, please.
On a side note, when it comes to handloading has anyone else noted that .40 is picker than 9X19 or .45 ACP? I gauge every .40 round I load, and often have to re-crimp.
