Magazine size limits in various states
Taking a road trip in September, from MI to Colorado. Been studying Handgunlaw.us but not able to easily find mention of mag size limit.
Need info for Indiana,Iowa, Nebraska, and Colorado. Also if I can transport 10+ mag through Illinois.
Been thinking about taking my P365 but not sure if my 12rd mag is ok.

Any help appreciated!

Make things easy on yourself and just take 10 rounders.

I am covered under the Retired Officer LEOSA status. When I travel, my Glock 19 or Glock 26 go with me with 10 round mags.

I fly out to WA to visit family once or twice a year, if I take my Glock 19, I fly with 10 round mags. I have a few 15 rounders there already.

If my flight gets diverted to a "commie" state, and I have to spend a night or two - I don't have to worry about the mag limit.

Yes it sucks, but such is life...

No problem in Illinois. You can have them in the car legally. Just can’t carry concealed unless you have a permit that is valid in Illinois, then you can carry 15rd mags.

Your MI permit is valid in IA, no mag limits.

If you'll taking I-80 you'll go right by the Brownells mega-store at exit 182:

You don't HAVE to buy anything: Use the restroom, browse the aisles, grab a free magazine (reading material), and drag yourself out. There's a small lobby where your SO can relax while you shop.

Why does the movie "Used Cars" come to mind?
