I went into the Douglas County Sheriffs Office on 10/21 for my fingerprining and application process. It took a little over a 1/2 hour. I had been out of town the past few days and was surprised to find a letter from the sheriffs office. Inside was my license with an issue date of 10/29. I was told to expect a 3-4 week wait, not 8 days. Anyways what I'm getting at is that I appreciate the prompt and painless process of obtaining my CHL.
