Thinking about moving from my P938 to the XDS for concealed carry.

Leaning towards the longer barrel.
Anyone have one?
What's your opinion on the 3.3 vs 4.0 barrel?

If you have not shot one, you should. They tend to be grip sensitive, with respect to reliability. The recoil is substantial.

I have an original XDS 45, 3.3" and it has always been a jam-o-matic, no matter how I grip it or what ammo / magazine I use.

YMMV

I never had a problem with mine. Ate everything I put through it.
I love the XD/XDm line but this pistol hurt my hand for some reason. Eventually sold it.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

I have several XSs, including 9mm and .45 in 3.3" and 4.0. Very east to shoot, comfortable, and thus far, quite reliable.

What length do you prefer the 3.3 or 4.0?

Don't have a .45, but have a 9mm 3.3

I love it.

It's more accurate than me. I shoot 2x2 sticky notes at 7 yards. Good enough for a small barreled, light weight, easy to conceal CCW.

Probably 1000rds through it, no issues.

Went out looking today.
Didn't find the 4" XDs to hold but found the 3.3 and a S&W Shield 45ACP.

Now I am thinking for a 45 CCW gun the Shield felt much better in my hands.

I've owned the XDs 3.3 in 45. Good, reliable shooter. Easy to both carry & shoot.
