I am not sure how long he has been around, but I have a Thunderbird OWB/IWB that is simply awsome.

I ordered a holster from TT, but canxed after the six month wait. I then turned to Kirkpatrick Gunleather and their Texas Strong Side (TSS) and love it--and only 2-3 months wait. The wait also depends on what they have in stock or if they have to custom make it.

I would say that Brigade Gunleather has got to be considered one of the "up and coming" custom holster makers. About 2.5 years ago when I ordered an M-11 IWB holster for my P229R it was about a 12 week wait. Now I understand it's about a 12-13 month wait.

May want to check out Eric Larson at HBE Leather. Issues he had back a few yrs back are gone with regard to keeping up w/too much business. Pipeline time is now 8-10 wks which is very good considering the wait times of his custom leather colleagues. He'll actually desires to speak w/you and get all your specifications and/or make recommendations to you based on personal needs, etc. Many no longer take that kind of time w/a customer. Bottomline: Cost is reasonable and quality outstanding. Won't hurt to check him out. Also, may want to consider Bulman Leather.
