Hello all, I have the Sig P220R carry 3.9 Barrel. I was wondering if anyone has this gun, and has every used a Kramer Belt Holster Scabbard Model in cow or horse hide? I have found like you may have that buying a holster is not as easy as I once thought. As well as there seems to be a rather long wait on most leather makers to make them. Thanks, Fred

While KRAMER is my preferred custom holster maker for both iwb and owb, you might give member "countryboy" a try. His work is beautiful, very reasonably priced and turn around time is pretty quick...

I do not have that particular Sig, but I have used Kramer holsters since the early/mid 90's.

In my opinion, the Kramer horsehide belt scabbard is the best OWB available. I have carried the following pistols; the Sig P220, P226, P225, P228, P229, and P239 in this holster both on and off duty.

Yes, it is expensive, but so then is your Sig. Buy a horsehide belt scabbard and you won't go wrong.

Good luck with your choice.

I have a horsehide Kramer that has held up to daily use in some pretty funky climates since the latter 80s. It isn't pretty, but neither am I, and it is going to outlast me.

My 229 lives in a horsehide MSP paddle. Very pleased with it.
