I always thought that was a reference to the Tooter Turtle cartoons from the 60s. Anyway, although I was a complete movie going/movie line quoting SOB in the 80s, Buckaroo Banzai is one that I had never seen. After reading this thread, I checked it out on Prime last night. I'm glad I finally saw it, and it generally entertained me for the time it was on. Had I seen it when it first came out, I'm sure I would have frequently quoted some of the lines. | |||
