The International - Shootout in the Guggenheim Museum. This clip cuts off way to early, but it's the only one I could find.

Oh jeez, I guess if war scenes count, I should add a scene from Michael Bay's best movie ever, with nary a PG-13 transforming robot in sight.

Not a movie, so a bit of thread drift, but the Raylan Givens gun scenes in the Justified series are quite good, starting with the opening scene, Raylan drawing from a thumb break holster no less:

Ethan Hunt is in a standoff with 5 or so bad guys in Paris, seemingly unarmed but he whips out a H&K USP (I think?) from what looks like a SOB carry and caps these 5 bad guys, point shooting each one. BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM.

I liked it.

I have always assumed it was simply a continuity error created by a not-so-gun-savvy movie maker attempting to create dramatic effect. Of course, being 12 years old, Gordie may have manually decocked the weapon after firing the first round instead of engaging the manual safety - through this seems less plausible given the tense nature of the scene.

He's not familiar with the manual of arms. It differs quite a bit from a phaser.

I’m not on a laptop/desktop where I can embed. Scene from Appaloosa. “You ain’t got no jurdiction here” at which point Ed Harris smacks the cowboy in the mouth with his Colt Revolver. And smashes some teeth out. “Colt makes a heavy firearm, that’s a fact.” My favorite and not a shot fired. 2nd is already posted, Heat, “There already coming out.” I walked outta that film in the theater knowing I would never see something that good again and haven’t to this day. My friend said “It was so long though” Roll Eyes
