I'm still under 10 times for any given artist, but nowadays I'm up to about 500 total concerts since 1978.

Tool, Metallica, The Cure, and a few others are up around 10 times each.

- Clapton, enjoyable, predictable and eventually boring.

- Yes, always a pleasure.

- Genesis, until it turned silly.

- Jethro Tull, amazing until they screwed up and brought Eddie Jobson. Asshole.

- Pat Metheny, great musician. Saw him back in the PMG days with Mays and in Tokyo at a Jazz Festival.

That's it, as far as I can remember.

Never was really big on going to concerts, but I have seen both Yes and Alan Jackson 3 times each. Oh...and Jeff Foxworthy twice.

Too many to mention all, but here's a short list:

Emmylou Harris
Seldom Scene
Linda Rondstadt
Taj Mahal
Van Cliburn
Albert Lee
Vince Gill
Many variants of bluegrass groups that included Tony Rice, Ricky Skaggs, Jerry Garcia, Vassar Clements, David Grisman, Sam Bush, and Gerry Douglas (with others making up each group).

The first time I saw KISS they were without make-up and Anthrax was the opening act.

Then years later I saw KISS with make-up opening for Ted Nugent.

Every other band I've seen has only been for one time and haven't been to a show in twenty years.

Benatar

The Police

The Go-Go’s

Each at least two times. Each fantastic shows. Each a lot of moving on the floors.

During the second go-round of The Go-Go’s was Charlotte Caffey’s heroin addiction tour. She still held the group together.

That I’ve paid to see:

A Perfect Circle
Tool
Nine Inch Nails
Soundgarden
Marilyn Manson
Garth Brooks

I used to work in the music touring industry so I’ve seen some bands dozens, of not hundreds of times. I was even lucky enough to get paid to be at a few shows from some of the above bands.
