"King of Queens" wasn't Shakespeare, either. What did you expect from a re-make of it?

I was floored when I found out the killed off the wife and fast forwarded a couple years so it was no longer sad in the first episode. Very strange.

Brilliant clip. I would love to see Jerry join the show.

I've read that real-life James is an Asshat of the Highest Order. It comes across in much of his comedy.

Ha, this makes me laugh out loud today; Kevin Can Wait has been canceled after just two seasons.

They killed off the wife Donna (who IMO actually made the show) after Season 1 in a lame-ass attempt to make this King Of Queens version 2.0 and made a joke of her death and it completely backfired on them just as I predicted.

When they killed Donna, they killed the show.

It serves this giant douchebag Kevin James right. Karma, motherf*cker! Big Grin

We watched the show several times the first year. Never watched it again the second season; that was one of the most bizarre cast changes I have ever heard of. Well deserved cancellation

There's a story going around that if Kevin James wants to shop in a store, he'll send members of his entourage (can you believe that a just barely d-grade actor has an entourage?) into the store and warn people to not bother his royal fucking highness- don't even look at him, much less speak to him.

Man- Paul Blart, Mall Cop, and that Chuck and Larry nonsense. This guy? This guy needs Tom Cruise-level crowd control? Man, when I heard that story, I wrote this conceited shit head off for good.

I like Leah but it was sad looking at her overly plastic surgeoned face. Never was much of a fan of either show. I supposed one thing you can say about Kevin is he is loyal to his friends; he brought Chris Rock and another comedian for his season finale. I’m sure he also hoped it would boost ratings.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." It is a perfectly awful series, and it highlights what is wrong with situation comedies on the broadcast networks. It has bad acting, lame writing, clumsy character changes, and nothing to say except "Father does not know best."

Good riddance. But its failure will not be a lesson to anyone at CBS.
