The Incredits, from the end of The Incredibles. Love the horns.

I'm sure it's due to the fact I saw these SEVERAL times at the Fords theatre in Fords, NJ as a 8-10 year old during the Saturday matinees. But I think the Errol Flynn soundtracks by Korngold really work.

The Adventures of Robin Hood and The Seahawks my favorites.

I like the Exorcist, but I think Halloween's theme song does a better job of setting up tension.

Cold rainy winter days like this remind me of what it was like to be a child cooped up and camped out in front of HBO, as I had no VCR yet.

It reminds me of scores of Dave Grusin:
(This soundtrack was never released, and the masters are apparently lost?!)

And Angela Morely.
(Man, that new BBC-Netflix adaptation was disappointing!)

And speaking of Mr. John Williams:
"NEXT YEAR - SUPERMAN II"

And if I may. Not a theme to a movie. It's for a tv show.

"All great things are simple, and many can be expressed in single words: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope."

--Sir Winston Churchill

"The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose."

A lot of good ones here. I'm thinking songs per op title, so I'd add Charade (though I like the theme instrumental better than the vocal), and Windmills of Your Mind.

Ooh, yeah. There's another film I'd sat through on HBO dozens of times during my latchkey kid days, Silver Streak! So many no longer with us - Gene Wilder, Richard Pryor, Jill Clayburgh, Patrick McGoohan, Clifton James, Richard Kiel, Lucille Benson, Scatman, director Arthur Hiller, writer Colin Higgins, composer Mancini - thanks for my childhood memories!
