I love watching good movies, but they are also hard to find amid all the schlock. I use mainly Netflix and Amazon, and when I just "cold watch" a movie just based on the title or the actors, I'm almost always disappointed.

My all time favorite is "The Godfather." Lately I've watched Taylor Sheridan's movies, which I have really enjoyed. "Wind River," "Sicario," "Hell or High Water." Good stuff.

What do you recommend? Either contemporary or films from the past?

That movie is so great, especially for those of us who like classic films.
