Tune down a half step and it’s easy. I just hardly know it, at least the words.

My oldest son is 19. I was amazed to hear one day when one of his friends (who was 14 at the time) told me he had never heard "Hotel California"...

Well, I'm 45 and one of my favorite performances was from when MTV actually played music and they had their short lived "Unplugged" series.

Eric Clapton's acoustic versions of "Layla" and "Tears in Heaven" are timeless classics.

Extreme- "More Than Words"

INXS- "Need You Tonight"

Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow: "Picture"

Linda Ronstadt: "Blue Bayou"

Motley Crue: "Home Sweet Home"

Nazareth: "Love Hurts"

Ozzy Ozbourne: "Time After Time" "Mamma I'm Coming Home" "Road To Nowhere"

Peter Gabriel" "Solsbury Hill"

Poison: "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" "Something To Believe In"

Radiohead: "Creep"

Bon Jovi: "Wanted Dead or Alive"

Sheryl Crow: "The First Cut is the Deepest" "Strong Enough" "Home"

Simon & Garfunkel: "The Boxer"

The Smith's: "How Soon is Now?"

Sublime: "Badfish" "Santeria"

Third Eye Blind: "Jumper"

The Verve Pipe: "The Freshmen"

The Who: "Love Reign O'er Me", "Behind Blue Eyes"

Tony.

more to come....

Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield

Jack and Diane - John Cougar Mellencamp

Every Rose Has Its Thorn - Poison

Sister Christian - Night Ranger

All those added to the previous list that I copied from KDR + Closing Time would be excellent. Well, I don’t listen to country music so I would have to remove Garth Brooks and George Strait for a song list for myself. I have no idea if these lists match the objective of the thread.
