ZebulonNeed some help Editing a YouTube Video...
I'm not even sure it is possible. I wanted to shorten Cheech and Chongs "Mexican Americans" video to stop right after the phone rings. Can anyone help? Thanks....Zebulon

2012BOSS302If you have the clip on your computer, I have edited using programs like MovieMaker and Adobe Premiere Elements. If you do not have MM (included in Windows Live Essentials), there is a free non-Microsoft version of it available (MS no longer supports their version if you do not have it already loaded). Or just google free MP4 editing tools. iMovie on iOS if you are using an Apple product.
Load into the program and it will show the timeline of the video clip. Edit out where you want it to stop and save it. May take more googling/youtubing to see other people doing it.
If you don't have the clip off youtube, use something like savefrom(dot)net (or more googling for the browser you use).
Save a couple back ups of the original so while you are editing one version, if you screw it up you can close it and painlessly start again.

bernborough2000zebulon ,
4kvideo downloader ( free ) , to save the clip and kdenlive ( free ) to edit it . There's an English uploader on youtube named " Explaining Computers " who shows you a very easy way to use kdenlive to edit .
best .
