I watched season 1 on Netflix. I liked it.

Then in season 2, episode 1, it jumped the shark. The whole Darfur thing. Mostly, the survivors from the tail section? Come on, people aren't going to go native after only a few months. They're going to be just as excited as the fuselage folks to find life.

You....just.....don't get it....

In my opinion, it hasn't "jumped the shark"...but the middle seasons got pretty annoying with some of the constant mystery that has taken forever to be answer.

I think last season was awesome, and this season will be freaking awesome-er.

Stick with it.

Saw the first episode. Wondered if it would be any good. Saw the second episode.

In my opinion, shows like Lost make plot twists the plot, which makes for a lousy story line. I'm all for hot chicks in wet tank tops, but Lost is un-watchable

I think it jumped the shark in the pilot, but that's just me.

There actually WAS a shark in one of the episodes. It had a Dharma logo on it.

Well, they have to start explaining things pretty soon. There's only one more season to go.

I agree with RAMIUS.

I think it is an outlandish plot to start with, only bizarre details will fill in the complex story.

I do agree that the tail section folks went "Lord of the Flies" too quickly, but its tv, and they were some seriously flawed people to start with.

No troubles there. Just make up any story to cover yourself- so long as it's a complicated and involved story, they have to believe it! Wink

Yes...but isn't that why the Island "choose" them?

They were selected and "brought" to the island for a reason.

If you're having a hard time believing they went "Lord of the Flies" too quickly, then I guess you really haven't thought about how they survived the breaking in-half of an airliner and then magically landed safe and sound onto a tropical island.....

Or about the invisible monsters and polar bears that terrorize them.

It's an intersting show. Like most tv entertainment, you can't base it on reality.

They better solve every thing this season...

Got a little soft during the middle, but they brought in Brian K. Vaughn and they got back on track.

I agree. Season 1 was good.

I got lost after that. They kept jumping back and forth. I never knew what was a new show and what was a rerun. Sometimes it was on. Sometimes it wasn't.

I got too lost to follow "Lost".

I like this show because it doesn't give you answers. Reminds me of life.

Yeah...I'm weird.

It jumped the shark when it became the first show on tv with some actual imagination.

That's for sure. Thumbs up for Lost, especially last season. Most people who complain about it just lost track of it at some point and don't have a clue what's going on, or never did. That's not the show's fault. I do think that the show's weird airing schedule, sometimes on for a while, sometimes off for a while, hurts them some.

Exactly. People complain that the current generation has a short attention span and then when a show requires some effort be invested to enjoy it they complain. I think that's why they invented shows like CSI to just spoonfeed the audience.

Yep, that's what I like about it the most. The intricate connections of little details across different seasons and across different time lines require actually paying attention to the show when it's on. It's not supposed to be a show based in reality. It's a complex fictional story that does take a little effort to keep on top of.
