New to Netflix and Amazon prime
I just got these services a couple days ago and I'm here to ask for recommendations.

So far I have been watching The Punisher season 1.

I'm late to the game and I'm sure you guys will have some great shows and movie originals to watch.

Thanks....

Two more votes, one each for "Bosch" (original Amazon Prime series) and "Justified" (FX series airing on Amazon Prime).

Also, though it just wrapped its sixth and final season, "Longmire" on Netflix.

Binge on netflix as you pay that month by month. Not sure if you have the free trial.

Amazon prime, you have for the whole year.

You also have free trial periods on Amazon for other channels like showtime, hbo, etc.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

There is a lot of chatter here about Netflix offerings. Just read back a few pages.

As a starter, check out Black Mirror. Season one, episode one got me hooked.

If you don't mind sub titles, Narcos is excellent as is Fauda for a different take on special agents action.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

These sound great.

As to what I like....Well I'm a gun guy like most of you. Also I always like to see shows with warnings like
Nudity
Adult content
Violence
etc. Smile

I'm not doing the free trial, I signed up for the full monty Razz

On Amazon Prime, Justified for sure. And since you don't mind lots of boobies and people getting kilt, I highly recommend Strike Back.

If you're into the Brits,

The Tudors - plenty of debauchery in this one.

The Crown- a good history lesson on the Royal Family/ Elizabeth.

I just started wathing The Last Kingdom (Netflix) and like it so far. It's similar to History Channel's Vikings, but has a different feel.

The Man in the High Castle (Amazon)
Breaking Bad (probably both Amazon and Netflix)
Bloodline (Netflix)
Ozark (Netflix)

I'm actually working my way through Quantico on Netflix. It's stupid, but is something I can have on when I don't want to pay close attention and just want eye candy. Season 1 is especially good for that.

We're midway through season 2 of The Crown, better than I expected, going into it.

On Amazon: The Grand Tour

Netflix: Orange is the New Black isn't bad either.

Since we all like guns and violence, NARCOS has it in spades. Location filming is great. I'm hooked on the theme song but can't find it to download.
