ETA: I see I did get an e-mail, Netflix did not fail me. Hopefully I'll watch some this weekend.

Binge watched it. Great second season. I wonder if they will do the trial of Atlanta Child Killer. In the book, it was during the trial when Williams/suspect got on the stand that the profilers really helped DA in cross examination.

Finished season 2 this weekend. I enjoyed it and it left me wanting more.

Oh well I guess I'll have to wait another year or so...

My wife and I have gotten through first 4 episodes. I definitely like it more than Season 1, which I really liked. Superb acting.

Finished the series. I liked it better than Season 1, but I have to say the near-total emphasis on the Atlanta child murderer hunt for the last 4 episodes or so, while very well done, dragged on a bit. Still, superior acting and production from start to finish and massive appeal for Season 3.

Just finished season 2 and I though it was very good. I hope it’s not as long to season 3 as it was for season 2

Season 1 put my wife to sleep - every single episode. I can't think of another series that did that. We gave it up mid-season. Is the pacing better in Season 2?

Pacing is a little better, but if Season 1 is sleep-inducing (I think it is riveting), I think it is safe to say Season 2 will be more of the same (at least for your wife).

Wife and I are struggling with the slow pace. Yet hooked.
I believe that ive read at least a couple of books on the subject, close or related but it was long ago. Can't make any connections.

Manson was good! Interesting! Why has he become so popular lately?

Enjoying the OST.

I will never hear "Tusk" the same way ever again.

It's been listed here before, but books by John Douglas (Holden Ford) & Mark :

Mindhunter
Journey into Darkness
The Cases that Haunt US
The Killer Across the Table

Robert Ressler (Bill Tench):
Whoever Fights Monsters: My Twenty Years Tracking Serial Killers for the FBI
I have Lived in the Monster: A Report from the Abyss

Another Behavior Science Unit alumni:
Roy Hazelwood - Dark Dreams: A Legendary FBI Profiler Examines Homicide and the Criminal Mind

Thank you. Most of my books got lost or not returned at one time or another. My original collection of audiobooks died in a drive crash. I do vaguely remember book covers and the subject being one of my interest.

Last night i was wondering if it was Peter Gabriel's voice singing 'Intruder' or if it was a cover. The music sounded exactly as i recalled it, not the main vocals.
Plenty of memorable bands and singers, some if not most of them I had completely forgotten. Good times remembered.

What I find interesting is the real people the three main characters are "based" on..

Dr. Carr is a gay Psychology Professor but is actually based on on Ann Burgress who was a married with children psychiatric clinical nurse specialist who specialized in sexual assault victims.

Holden Ford is based on Robert John Douglas. Douglas had good insights but really seemed to be a tad bit of a narcissist in his books and appearances. All about "I and Me", would have fitted in great with Obummer along with Comey and Crew.

Bill Tench is based on Robert Ressler. Ressler was an Army Officer (MP) and career FBI agent. He was instrumental in setting up Vi-CAP (Violent Criminal Apprehension Program).

It will be interesting who they will use to be Roy Hazelwood who developed the organized/disorganized classifications for killers, along with the six type of rapists. Also a proponent of the theory that there is no cure for pedophilia or sexual sadists, which led to the post incarceration of sex criminals via involuntary commitment laws.

Make a little effort? Mingle? These are nice people.

I worked sixty five hours this week.

I got two coolers of beer.
