I'm not saying it's probable, but I could certainly see her being overpowered by the soldiers and suddenly her long lost dire wolf, Nymeria, and maybe the pack she's supposedly leading, coming to her rescue and ripping the soldiers to shreds. The setup for that seems to be forming, and the writers love to have the Stark wolves be AWOL until the moment their master is on death's doorstep, only to leap in, get a kill, and then vanish again. That being said, it could be awesome if Arya and a pack of dire wolves spent some time doing guerilla warfare on the bands of Lannister soldiers and other miscreants about the lands before she made her way to King's Landing.

Isn't that how it is in the book? Arya's Direwolf is the pack leader of a group that hunts down Lannister soldiers?

From the the gameofthrones wiki:

Nymeria's fate is likewise not revealed in the books, although while in the House of Black and White, Arya frequently dreams that she is a direwolf leading a pack of grey wolves in the Riverlands.

After Brynden Tully escapes from Riverrun, Nymeria helps him indirectly by delaying his pursuers: Jaime sends Ser Addam Marbrand and Ser Dermot of the Rainwood to find Brynden; the next day, Ser Dermot returns and reports that his party was attacked by a pack of hunderds of wolves, led by an enormous female direwolf. The wolves killed two sentries and horses. Hearing that, Jaime wonders if the she-direwolf in question is the same one that mauled Joffrey.

Did anyone notice Ed Shereen? He is the Lannister singer and they suprised Malaise Williams(who's her favorite singer/pop star) by putting him in the show without her knowing.

People on the internet are freaking out about it. Sheeran even took a twitter break for a few days due to all the backlash.

I didn't see the big deal, but I could have done without it personally. But certainly nothing to go crazy about.

I knew the name (Ed Shereen), but didn't know the face, so it made no difference to me.

It does seem kind of stupid to me to put a pop star in a cameo, as that probably did take a lot of viewers "out" of the experience of the show.

They've done it several times with various other famous (well, semi-famous) musicians in previous seasons, but none of their cameos were as prominent as this one, and none of the other musicians were as famous/recognizable as Ed Sheeran. Usually they're just extras, like wedding musicians and Wildlings.

And of course they did even use a porn star as a major character, Shae. Much to my surprise, I'd never seen her before GOT.

IMO I don't think Arya is going to kill the Lannister soldiers. I believe she would have until they started talking about their families and how they're just wanting to go home to their wives and children.

I suspect the encounter was to remind Arya that she has a mission, and a list of people to kill. Lannister footmen aren't on her list, and I don't think the Many Faced God would be pleased if she just slaughtered everyone in her path.

It would depend on what they do. If they remain benign and friendly they should be safe. If they try to take advantage of her, they're dead.

What? I looked up Sibel Kekilli and saw nothing about that. She seems like the opposite of a porn star with all of her political activism.

German porn, I guess. I don't watch German porn, unless it involves midgets, of course.

Anyway, how 'bout that Game of Thrones!

The cameo would've been fine, however they kept framing Sheeran in 3-4 different angles despite only having 2 lines. See who we have here? See him again? Here he is...

The guy is Maisie Williams favorite singer, the show runners added him as a surprise gift to her. She didn't know about it until they filmed the scene hence her goofy half grin as she sits down.
