Had this playing with a few friends of mine tonight. Great song for the ages. When I see those choppers ride into the enemy's doorstep I just get chills...I have ridden enough in my lifetime. Those boys like Ritchie are amazing.

Eve of Destruction was definitely one of those songs, that reflected the era it was made in. Among other artists like The Byrds, Scott McKenzie, and Buffalo Springfield. Here's a picture of Barry as he appears today:
