I met the guy who took that photo. . . Smile

All of humanity with the exception of 3 people, in one photo. Amazing.

That photo, more than any other, was the defining image of Apollo up to Neil and Buzz's landing.

A fella here posted a picture of a scoped SCAR 17s , it was on a glass patio table .

it was stunning.

and for about four months , you could google it and it would pop up.

but sadly, no more.

if it shows up again , I will figure out a way to save it

did anyone else happen to save it?

Thanks, Jake. Glad you appreciate it.

I thought it was a stunning image when I first saw it.

Here's a similar one.

Dude that my picture. Enjoy and continue to use it as your background.

I was in the Outer Bank a few weeks ago and was thinking about this shot. I would like to this again but it takes a lot of setup and time. Plus all the planning doesn't matter if mother nature doesn't cooperate.

My favorite Outer Banks photo is of the Wright Memorial in Kitty Hawk at night with a full moon in the background. The photo was taken while Armstrong and Aldrin were walking on the moon.

The "Rainbow Bridge" in Toyoko, I became interested in learning about this bridge after reading a murder mystery set in Toyoko, where people were murdered on the bridge.

There is an interesting history connected with this bridge.

Found this photo on the Internet, wish I had the link to post for credit,(copyright).

Info on bridge from Japan's Tourism office:
