Ok, Marty goes back in time and befriends his dad and his mom is all hot for him. He fixes them up and heads back to the future, where his dad is now successful and mom is still hot.

Wouldn't his dad have a lot of questions about how the hell his "son" looks EXACTLY like his buddy from high school that his now wife had the hots for way back when?

Seems like he'd be awfully suspicious of that one, and his wife would have some serious 'splainin to do

Only if George knocked her up the next night, and I'm pretty sure Marty wasn't born in 1955.

There's actually a fan theory that says as Marty got older George realized it was his son that visited him in 1955.

I just typed a huge explanation of why it wasn't a concern for George and then I thought to myself, "My God! I am a huge nerd". So never mind.

BTTF1 starts out in 1985, Marty is the youngest of 3 kids, and is beginning his senior year in high school—that puts him at age 17 or 18 (born in 1968, or there about). His oldest brother appears to be about 22 or 23 yoa, and his older sister appears to be about 20 yoa.

He returns to 1955 (30 years in past), and then jumps forward to 2015 in BTTF2. In BTTF3, he and Doc Brown go back in time to 1885.

No that's my point ... So if he's 16ish in 1985, he's born late 60's. So his parents get married right out of high school and start having kids early to late 60's.

He has a son, then a daughter, then ... WTF, an exact clone of my high school friend. He would think his wife ran into Calvin Klein aka Marty, and had an affair, had a kid who looks just like the guy she cheated with and even named him after the guy.

Because George believes that if he pushes any issues he might have, Darth Vader might well still come from the planet Vulcan to melt his brain.

Duh.

He sees his son growing up. And his son looks like him. He wouldn't remember his old friend's face and see the resemblance.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." How many people that you met for a couple days thirty years ago do you remember?

I will concede Future III - the second one (that they never made) REALLY sucks. I like III.

Following that logic, they made Star Trek 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 10.

It's a shame they never made any sequels to Ghostbusters, either. . .

As for Back/Future, Marty would go nuts, as NONE of his childhood memories remain.

Marty: Hey, remember that fun time when we went to Death Valley and mom locked the keys in the car? Remember that? Guys? (George and Lorraine frantically call up the family shrink on speed dial).

He changed his past, but he seems to have all memories of the old/original past. So, he wouldn't remember anything that REALLY happened, and he would have memories that nobody else knows about.

It's not wise to mess with time.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Considering Marty urged him to ask out Loraine I bet George remembers him quite well.
