I getting this for the wife.
Really!

All we have is a PS2 so it'll be like the Wii Fit for her.

I'm sooo addicted to Guitar Hero. I gave up video games for about three years and then I made the mistake of trying GH3.

I've never tried DDR though. Whenever I hear people talk about DDR, I think of this scene from Grandma's Boy.

I've seen people playing DDR before. It's not pretty.

I'm looking for a Wii for the fiance for Christmas. They're pretty rare, and I'll either have to camp out at Best Buy or pay a jacked up price on Ebay for it.

Well Rhonda is far from clumsy.
She's a ballet instructor.

I bought it for the fiance.
Make sure to get 2 dance pads so you all can go head to head.

It is actually quite fun. We have had a lot of fun with it.
We have the Wii it's a work out for sure but the Wii is even more so.

Yeesh, that'd be ugly. I'm clumsier than the heavy kid.

As this photo shows, our DDR pads are in the middle of the room, hooked up to the big tv.

That's kinda what we were going for. Smile Unfortunately, with us trying to sell the house, all the paint is now beige and all the toys are gathering dust in storage. Frown

If you use the basic pads, you'll want to make sure they're on something hard. Carpet will ruin the pad after a while since it allows the pad to flex too much. If you have carpet get some composite board and cut it to match the pad. It's also best not to fold the mat up after each use.

My GF's used to play DDR...

Well she finally got the hang of it last night.
She doesn't play video games so she doesn't understand the controller.
So I'd hafta go set up each game.
She's discovered Disco if her forte now. Razz

Sorry bout the late reply, got busy and then the email got buried. I got them from Fry's Electronics. I have not seen them there in a long time. They do make them for Wii, but not those heavy duty ones.

You can check here for more info. I saw the squishy mats for Wii at Game stop.
