Taxi Driver has the best ending due to it's artistic nature and the ending is open to many interpretations.

The scene looking down from above at the apartment will be a classic for 100 years.

Good film noir has great endings. Although not well known I enjoyed Robert Mitchum and Jean Simmons in Angel Face. Treasure of the Sierra Madre is another great one.
