Hasn't that series been done to "death"?

Well, one more episode for Rick, I'm not sure I'll continue at this point. If I didn't know he was exiting the show, I may have bowed out after the last few episodes.

I don't know if this qualifies as a "spoiler," but if you haven't yet seen the latest episode, you may want to not read further.

The preview of next week's show suggests another one of the "life flashing before one's eyes" episodes, much like when Sasha committed suicide in the casket.

Every shot in the preview showed Rick with the bloody puncture wound suffered from his fall onto the rebar. I expect the ending to be the two herds of walkers converging on him for dinner. No rescue for Rick this time.

Negan wins.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

I don't think they'll let Rick go out like that.

I agree. I actually thought he'd be banished or would leave the community, but I don't think he goes out without a blaze.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but if he has his gun on him I could see him eating it before they eat him. Kind of like Carl did.

Wow, this was a really bad episode...

Sooooooo...a pit deeper than a human just happens to be right next to where you stop Daryl and have a scuffle?

Then in the same day, some cement and rebar juuuuust happens to be where a horse throws you?

These writers are just phoning this in now....

I’m waiting to see Daryl jump his bike over a pit of walkers...Fonzie style.

I’m out....

^^^ I'll watch it, but I'm dreading it. No out of sadness/thinking I'll miss Rick, but out of thinking it will likely be a way over the top hero's death.

I think the bridge is going to somehow play into Rick's death. Don't know why, but maybe because he's making such a big deal about the bridge and how important it is to them.

You Sir, owe me a cup of coffee and 2 paper towels as I just spit up my coffee!! Classic reference.

To top it off, the preview for this week's episode shows him walking away from the walkers. Another magical save coming I guess. Just ridiculous at this point.

Because son, it is what you are supposed to do.

One episode into Season 8 and I'm done. I actually spent some time wondering how I made it THAT far.

Soap opera. No thank you.

I hope it's nothing like the end of 'Fear the Walking Dead's' main character Madison (Kim Dickens). Her actual death wasn't shown as a horde moved in on her, Madison's went out oozing noble motive and sacrifice. Tis a far far better thing, yata yata yata.

I was happy to see her go but cannot imagine TWD without Rick. Will we see Rick dying? Or worse, will we see him "walking"? I say no and no.

Any predictions? I think theres gonna be a hook or something pertaining to Rick, something they can come back to later on. I'm not sure they just end his character without any twist or buzz. Hospital bed twist? Rick goes back to where he started in the series, maybe he was dreaming? Though I don't think you can continue the series that way.
The previews make it look like the episode of the Sopranos where Tony is in the car with a bunch of dead characters so I'm expecting an hour of reminiscing.

I was wrong, helicopter, not boat! Maybe the helicopter lands on a boat!
