Feelin' my roots today. God Bless the United States of America and to Hell with anyone who takes exception.
"Now, two flags fly above my land that really sum up how I feel One is the colors that fly high and proud, the red, the white, the blue The other one's got a rattlesnake with a simple statement made 'Don't Tread On Me' is what is says and I'll take that to my grave
Because this is me I'm proud to be American and strong in my beliefs And I've said it before but I'll say it again 'Cause I've never needed government to hold my hand And I've said it before but I'll say it again 'Cause my family's always fought and died to save this land And a country boy is all I'll ever be"

Thanks Para, hadn't heard either of those and I liked both first time though.

Well said Para. The Aaron Lewis song is one of my favorites.

I liked both the lyrics and Aaron Lewis' voice. Thanks.
Here is a more obvious Veteran's Day song that has been on my mind:
Amen to that sentiment, Para! And Aaron Lewis (and that song) is "the chit"! Bunch of other good tunes posted here, too!

I had not heard that Aaron Lewis song but enjoyed it. I have trouble listening too his country stuff as I grew up listening to Staind and just can't break his voice away from that.
