Roll Eyes

'First Man' Box Office: One Giant Flop for Ryan Gosling?

I won't even watch this when it's free on TV, fuck that PC bullshit.

You understand little about film. First off it’s been out one weekend. Next it’s a low budget film for this type of thing. They don’t need to recoup 200 million. No surprise that another low brow Superho film is #1 at the box office or that a Lady Gaga romance film is #2. Film people could have told you that a week ago. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

Whatever man.

You keep telling yourself that.

In the real world, it doesn't look like this movie is doing well and it's the PC that did it.

Spin it however you want.

People decided. And history did its’ thing. You lost. It’s a great film. They purposely did manual work to avoid CGI. There was no political bullshit. If you had watched the film, the American Flag is there, on the moon. The film is a case study about Neil, not a propaganda film. There is a PC scene in it, but it actually occurred. I didn’t agree with the man in that scene, but it happened at the same time, factual. The resentment.

Cheap made film, comparatively. 59 mil. That’s the whole staff on a shoestring budget. It made 105 million. A glowing success. Next time, maybe learn, don’t judge a book by its’ cover. The film celebrates Neil, NASA, The United States, our engineers. It was a world triumph for our people and our nation.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Where the hell did you see that?

As much as you apparently hate this movie, I loved it.

Dude, read this reply and was wondering how a 20:18 reply was placed after those in 2019. Lol

Just finishing it up. (At the launch)

Better than expected
