Some links I have come across to help ease the weeks worth of wait pain:

https://www.dominosvault.com/index.aspx

www.whysoserious.com

http://thedarkknight.warnerbros.com/

Edit: http://www.dominos.com/home/tracker/pizzatracker.jsp?up...d=3000+GREENRIDGE+DR

Apparently you have to order a pizza, go to that and click under the delivery thing and that will take you to the website, hope it works. That trailer was awesome!

That dominos website has an exclusive trailer. Pretty long, and has footage I had not seen on any of the other 2-3 trailers out there. Good stuff. I can't wait!

This is going to be THE movie of the summer. Batman Begins was awesome. Christopher Nolan has made some great films and Christian Bale is probably one of the best things to come around in movies recently. Films like American Psycho, The Machinist, The Prestige really showcase his ability to transfom himself and become the role. I'm pissing myself waiting to see Ledger, as well. This is one movie that's going to live up to all the hype.

I just bought Batman Begins on Blu-ray and it has the first six minutes of the new movie on it. It opens with the Joker and pals doing a bank heist, it really gets you pumped to see the whole film.

No spoiler review.
Well me and the family went and saw it this morning.
It is by the best movie of the summer. Actually the year so far. Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker is incredible. He might be the best movie villain ever. His performance is disturbing ,twisted and intelligent. Making his passing all the more sad. The other actors are their usual surperb selves, with an eception to Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance. However her's was better than Kate Holmes as the same character. Eric Roberts got dusted off and did a good job. IMO the CGI was no too over the top either. It is dark. Real dark so you might want to think about your kiddos. This is not Adam West's Batman for sure. My kids 6 and 8 saw it and they were ok with it. If it went any darker it would have been too much for them. I think I will see this one again before it leaves the big screen. I give it an A-

No spoilers here either.

It is an amazing sequel and a great stand alone movie.

The first had a lot of character development. This one hits the ground running and does...not...stop. I was never a comic book fan but I loved Batman the animated series as a young teen. This movie brings that to life and then some.

I have low expectations when I see a movie in theaters especially when they are super hyped by fanboys and are rated PG-13.

I watch way too many movies and for the most part I already know what is going to happen in just about any new flick. This one shocked me with some of the outcomes and the follow through. For me it was a masterpiece.

Chris Nolan did to the superhero genre what Michael Mann did to the bank heist genre with HEAT. It has this gritty realism feel (with the exception of the bat toys Razz) except this movie utilizes characters that just about everyone knows and has a special bond with. There is one scene though that involves Dent questioning a defendant that was a little dumb and you will know why (glock fans). But that is quickly forgotten with the rest of this wonderful movie.

I never cared or noticed movies of Ledger, thought he was ok in the Patriot and never saw Broke Back Mountain. He absolutely nails the Joker in this movie and then some. Aaron Eckhart plays an amazing two face and Harvey Dent. Bale gets the Bruce Wayne Role right again and his batman performance was good. Didn't like the super deep voice thing but the fighting and everything else was great. I actually thought Maggie Gyllenhaal's performance was great as well. She was a tough cookie in the movie and plays a much more mature role then Holmes could have.

I give it a 10/10.

I'm just home from see it too. I would agree with what others have said here. Much darker than the first, but just as good! Ledger was excellent and I can't fault any other preformance in this either. I would agree that it's a bit much for younger kids. I would give it a strong 9+ out of 10 only because some once told me that nothing can be that good, but this comes very close! Cool

As a big budget action picture it was great, but I was a little disappointed overall. I expected something with a different feel from Christopher Nolan, after Memento, The Prestige and Batman Returns.

IMO yes. Ironman is the best Marvel movie ever I believe. Ironman is a lot of fun, and it was my favorite of the year until this morning. I am not even that big of a comic book guy. The Dark Kight is more than a comic book movie. It boarders on art house. It by no means has a "Main stream" feel to it.
sendec I don't know how you could be disappointed. Memento is a favorite of mine, but in regard to the subject manner of Batman I dont know what more you could ask for. I doubt Batman will never be an R rated movie character.
By the way sendec if you like those I highly suggest you see "Following" if you havent.

TDK was pure magic. Ledger's performance will never be matched and we finally, finally have a Joker worthy of the character.
Excellent movie. Very dark. Very well done.

Yeah, definitely better than Ironman. Heath Ledger pushed this movie over the edge. Fantastic. No other word describes his performance. Except for one, maybe,,,,,O-S-C-A-R. No joke.

What a great movie! My only gripe, as stated above, is Bale's too deep phony voice when in his batsuit. I don't remember that voice in the last one.
