Cohen was a prolific writer, of poetry and songs, and other genres. Perhaps as worthy of the Nobel as Dylan.
 
Regarding this song, I think I like the Pentatonix cover the best. It is amazing (to me) the range that their bass singer (Avi Kaplan) has. He ranges easily from low bass up into tenor.
 

Nice tune, but the song doesn't make much sense to me.
