Just watched all three extended versions of The Hobbit series and the Wilhelm scream is in each of them at least once (twice for Desolation of Smaug). I guess it'll never die but it's gotten to the point that it's instantly noticeable whenever it occurs in any movie.

Oh, and don't forget about the "Howie scream." I think I first really paid attention to it when LucasArts' Dark Forces came out in 1995.
