Guys,
I just put together a LWRC M6A3 18" DMR rifle with the new DDLES billet lower. I think it's going to be a great rifle. I need to get an optic for it. I was thinking a getting a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32mm .250 MOA w/ ZeroStop.

The M6A3 upper is nice. The recoil feels good and it shoots just like other M6A3’s I have shot. I shot it with a 10x Super Sniper scope but I just did not get the groups I would have wanted from a DMR rifle. My buddy’s 18 inch White Oak barrel was shooting a group half as small. It does run clean though, I will give it that.

I'm pretty excited about the DDLES lower. It is streamlined and simple with two features I really like, a large magwell opening and an upper receiver tension screw. The integrated trigger guard is nicer then most because it is smooth and low profile as it tapers down in the center. The upper receiver tensioning screw is nice for a DMR type rifle, as it provides a rock solid fit to the upper receiver.

The lowers made from 6061 aluminum are only $210.00. The lowers made from 7075 aluminum are $266.00.

Maybe you were looking at the 9mm dedicated lowers those can be as high as $315.00 for the 7075 version, but if you figure you would be buying a mag block as well as the lower that price is competitive.

What length forearm is that? I'm guessing a middy?

It is a mid-length gas piston system. The rail comes with the upper so it would be a LWRC or something they branded. It does not look like any other rail I have seen.

I like the mount you have for that optic. Where did you find it and how much, if I may ask? I've been looking for a good mount to co-witness irons, but I'd rather not pay 150$.

It's a Knights Armament, so it's spendy.
