a few stripped lowers just went on sale up here for 170 which seems normal.

any concerns to be aware of on RRA lowers ?

my RRA has been very solid, however it's in 5.56.


Everything i have read about stripped lowers from them has been positive.

there are some incredible deals out there on lowers these days. RRA is fine, But you could easily save yourself $50 and get one as good or probably better. For example, try JC Weaponry who sells the Mega lowers for a lot less than the price you are looking at. They are great lowers.

Yes, I haven't talked to Jason in "a while" because I haven't been in the market for AR stuff in the same amount of time, so I don't know what price he's running now, but I just noticed the other day that Kyle Blagg (kblagg) has them for $100 per over at arfcom.

Last I checked, Jason was running them for around the same price, and all around a great guy to deal with...


ETA: Mega is the brand I'm building my 6.8 rifle off of... eventually (aka "when I stop buying so many handguns").

Shooter, the Mega will be a great start. What 6.8 upper are you looking at?
