The Coast Guard regularly shoots 50 gallons barrels with their .50 guns. They may have some tips on where to shoot.

I'd also contact Barrett and see if they have any recommendation or service history on the rifle.

I met some folks who worked for them over the years and they were all good to talk to. One was my TACOM rep at FT Campbell.

At about 17:30 Jerry shows a 30 round AR-15 mag and the Barrett mag and says "this is considered an assault rifle, and this is just a 10 round mag, so it's pretty harmless".

I found an AR50 for (relatively) cheap and couldn't have possibly had a use for the thing at the time, but I couldn't think of anything else I needed aa badly. Found an ACOG on a Black Friday sale. Time to play!

It'll do a good job of testing your hearing protection device, installing big ass grins on everyone who squeezes off a round, and makes everyone go find other stuff that needs a hole in it.
