Rolan's recent post got me thinking about the CZ EVO-3s again.
While picking up a check for pistol I had on consignment which had sold , I also picked up this;

Added a Magpul M-LOK AFG and Crimson Trace Rail Master Pro (green).
This is a 2017 version which lacks the slot for a sling on the left side of the receiver.
No opportunity to shoot it yet but hope to this week.

PSA: 'New style' CZ EVO-3 20 round mags
Riflegear has "bulk" 20 round CZ mags for $12.99 ea.
These are new but have been pulled from the rifles that get sent to California.
The ones I purchased have the CZ-USA base plates and USA followers so they meet the 922r requirements for use in the Carbines.

20rd EVO-3 mags

They also have a 20% off sale on Magpul stuff.

Looks great Steve. You should enjoy the rifle, I have really enjoyed mine which I recently bought. The price on those 20 rounders are pretty good and tempting, but I want to stock up on the 30 rounders.

I noted your rifle as well in the thread you started, it is nice.
Saw that you also got a couple of 30 rounds mags with yours but mine only had the two 20 rounders.

I'll probably get a 30 round mag or two but normally I don't care for those regardless of the platform (AR, AK, 556R, 522, etc) although I do have some.
I trended away from thinking a bigger mag is better a number of years ago.
More of a PITA to load, and I tend to waste more ammo when using them.
They are only useful to me when standing (i.e no benchrest or prone position).

I did clean up the trigger components on mine and it made for a nice crisp break and reset.
Breaks at a very consistent 7-lbs 11-oz on my Lyman gauge.

Steve,

I have the Parker Mtn. mounts on mine. One on the rear receiver, and one that replaces the "loop" where the forward receiver meets the rear receiver.

At a minimum, I change out the safeties and the grip. I would RECOMMEND the charging handle, trigger shoe, reduced power springs, and adding a Duckbill paddle mag. release.

I bought three on Sat since that was all the guy could find.
Saw they still showed as in stock Sun morning and went back for another three.

Nice that the storefront is relatively local to us. Smile

Thanks Rolan.
I will definitely get a replacement right side safety lever and probably the spring kit as well (although the trigger is not bad).
The other stuff seem to be niceties as I don't have issues with the stock components.
My opinion may change after a shooting session, however.

They have free shipping and since I am paying tax already I’m not wasting my time driving there. Wink

I'm waiting for the Manticore 30 round magazines to come back into stock. Then I'll pick up a few more. I've got 6 30 rounders, and 4 20 rounders now.

These threads are making me want to pick one of these up.
Need to find out who carries them locally so I can try one on. I don't currently have a PCC in my stable.

Tough question then becomes rifle or pistol.
Is the faux suppressor pinned on on the rifle version?

P250UA5,
As it comes from the factory, no. It just threads onto the 16" barrel.

Thanks, the photos on the CZ site make it look like the OP's photo, so made me think: short bbl with pinned faux suppressor.

Did not notice the free shipping, good to know.
Even though the drive isn't terribly long, avoiding the assholes on the way there and back would be worth it (with respect to the forum I'll add any further commentary on the drive in the "What's Your Deal" area).

Might add, I have ordered the HBI spring kit and V2 safety safety (rt side),

If you just can't get enough of the CZ Skorpion, here is a nifty moral patch.
