You wanna take on a squad of Blackwater trigger-pullers, you better have a lot more than 24 loaded PMAGs. Close Air Support would be a good start.

Just think of contractors as Agents. Remember what Cypher said about Agents? "Run. Run your ass off!"

I am unimpressed by BW thugs. I have seen them and other guns-for-hire over here. Most of them are fat, rag-bags. They have high-speed gear and cool toys, that is about it. Remember, for the most part these BW goons make poor decisions when it comes to ROI. These guys are hired guns that are not necessarily the sharpest pencils in the drawer, just look at their track record, no they have not lost a VIP, but they make poor decision after poor decision. They are trained in VIP protection, convoy security and transport.
Not to toot my own horn but I was a 5 time rifle expert (Marines qual at 500yds), I taught qual marksmanship, was a lead USMC SLAM instructor, a MTU Instructor and a member of the 2nd MARDIV/CAMP LEJEUNE rifle team. I am versed at long range target engagement. I have a Midlength SS Medcon that I consistently keep 2" groups at 300 yds with Irons and an ACOG.
They wouldn't make it near my house.... There would be bodies from 50 to 300 yds from my front door. Razz

After reading that, I think we should bring all 150,000 or so of our troops home and leave you there to end this war for us. Razz My God, you make Rambo look like a punk. Wink

Thankfully BW contributes very little to the war effort.

I think your light placement is interesting. I liked it until I figured that after a mag or two the light would not put out shit for light.

I guess with the can on there that would be solved.

Keep thinking out of the box.

I ran it through a 3day Vickers class in March of this year and NEVER had to clean off the lenses. YMMV. I was shooting a mix of 55gr ammo for the class. I have 8K rounds through this SBR (about 1/2 was shot suppressed) and also never had to clean the lenses.

I have my 12.5" SBR set up the same way as well with no problems.

Given that the muzzle device is a flash suppressor and not a muzzle break I can't imagine that it would project gas in a rearward manner and dirty the lense.

If it was a muzzle break it might be an issue, but, I doubt you would ever have any trouble with a FH.

Prayer of The Citadel

Give me a boy, Oh God, who is willing to learn the true value of honor, the necessity of perseverance and loyalty, and the meaningfulness of devotion to God and country. And I shall take this boy as does a blacksmith take a crude piece of metal, and place him over a forge whose liberating flame of education is fired by the bellows of strict military discipline. Into this ingot of a man I shall temper self-respect and self-discipline, fear of God and respect for mankind, appreciation of freedom and awareness of what sacrifices must be made to preserve freedom, and above all an insatiable desire for truth and honesty. And when all these things I have done, I shall brand my finished work with a ring of gold to let all of humanity know that I have given back to the world a ...Citadel Man.

My "Go To" AR would definitely be this one.

If things are going south, I want to carry a rifle in which I have have complete confidence. This one is totally reliable, extremely accurate, and faster than I am. This rifle has carried a TA-31F ACOG, but for 0-150 yards, it was just too slow.

Question, please: How do I get the Original trigger guard off my 6920 without tearing the thing apart. I would like to put my new magpul on and the rear pin on the 6920 trigger guard wont come out.
Thanks

M4, How do you activate the light? It looks like your just using the standard rocker switch. I would hate to remove my support hand from my rifle to turn a light on/off, and I'd also hate to walk around in the dark with a constant beam advertising my position. I've used tape switches and I have a TLR-1 mounted at 2 o'clock on a set of carbine handguards (I'm a lefty and I can manipulate the rocker switch without moving my support hand from this position) but I don't understand your set-up.

I'd imagine he uses the vert. grip as a backstop with his thumb up. This would make it easy to turn on and off the light without having to change your grip.

Yep support hand thumb. I hold the rail and use the stubby grip as a handstop. This makes for more control of the gun. And it's very similar to my hold for my 3gun rifle.
