ENJOY IT!

I have 1.9 LMT’s.
(The .9 is waiting a BCG, and Flip up sights, and she’s up and running)

Yep, they are heavy as a brick, but 100% reliable!

Excellent choice! Buy once cry once. I love LMT. It was my first AR after the ban in 2004. A year and a half ago I bought two stripped MARS lowers, an L and an H. The plan was to build the H first, buying parts solely off of sales and discounts. I got the lower completely together and have the BCG and charging handle but then the LMT sales dried up for MWS parts and I ended up completing the MARS-L first. With the way the market is I don't expect to see any sales soon so I may just have to bight the bullet and pick up the barrel and upper chassis.

Start stocking up on mags and ammo and enjoy her!

Solid choice. I have an LMT MWS with a 16 inch barrel. I love it. Sure, it's a little heavy. But, it's alot of fun to shoot.

Yeah it's an overbuilt tank, but if it shoots right I won't mind. Also with the LW barrel putting it around 8.5 lbs that's not bad at all, and zero complaints from me.

I too see the LMT sales every year and salivate. I've stayed away because I know I might end up having to go all in with these chassis. The barrel swaps and even piston to DI, and I can have a 300 blk barrel on the side, etc etc etc. It really requires me to retool all my stuff and just go all in. But I'm not ruling it out over time though.

Slippery Pete,

Congrats on your LMT buy. Believe me you won't be disappointed. I have one of their 5.56 "Reference Rifles" and have been extremely happy with it...built like a tank, accurate, and handles well. I'm sure that you will be pleased with your purchase.

Working on getting it to the range. Had to neuter it and all for CAL. Dam ridiculous. Almost there though.
