Vortex optics and accessories
I don't recall seeing them mentioned here much,
do SigForum members have experience with their stuff?

A bunch of coworkers have the Sparc AR on their personal rifles and they all held up during a recent class. My old Holosun held up fine during class. My suppressor got beat up (scratched to hell) during the class from bumping into walls and cars but no scratches on the optic.

My work rifle has an Aimpoint. I might try an MRO next for the bigger view.

The thing about the Sparc ar is the battery. Easy to find. And the warranty is great if you need it. Coworkers all bought the sparc ar and ten pmag combos and so far so good. We have a class upcoming for when it starts snowing and we're allowed to bring our personal rifles again.

I have quite a bit of their stuff, maybe 3-4 scopes, a few pairs of binos and a tripod.

I like their stuff well enough, I really think my viper HD 10x42 binos are comparable to more expensive competitors.

Their binocular pack is actually made by Alaska guide creations so it's good to go too.

I have a Vortex spotting scope, two of their rifle scopes (Viper and Razor lines) and a Venom red dot. Love the quality to price ratio plus the warranty. I'll buy more.

While I’ve got an Aimpoint on my serious rifle, the 22’s both have Vortex Venom red dot sights. They do a good job.

Their Razor line seems to be very popular among the long range rifle crowd.

I've got two of their Spitfire illuminated prismatic scopes on AR15s, a 1X and a 3X, and I like them both. I have a Strikefire red dot on another, an AR pistol build, my eyes don't really do red dots well but that is no fault of the optic which seems to be pretty good for the money ($179 shipped for the red dot and 10 30 round Pmags from PSA a few weeks back)...

I've never used their lifetime warranty, but I do know someone who did use it on a scope...the issue was quickly remedied quickly to her satisfaction...she seemed pleased enough with their service dept...

I like their products well enough especially for their cost...I am seriously considering replacing the red dot on the AR pistol with another 1X Spitfire prism scope.

They offer a very wide range of optic. I have a viper PST 2.5-10x and a Razor Gen ll 4.5-27x and love them both. Great reliable optics loaded with features. I can't see myself buying a different brand from here on out.

Depends what level of their stuff you are buying.

Vortex is pretty straight with where their stuff is made and what its supposed to do.

High end is either USA or Japanese made, with some mid tier from the PI. They also have Chinese made stuff, but like I said they don't try to hide it from you.

I have a Vortex PST Gen 2, 1-6x which has been great and Venom RDS which has bounced around from a Ruger MKII to a SCAR as an offset RDS. Works fine.

I have been pleased with all my Vortex products. Solo 10x36 Monocular, Sparc, Strike Eagle, and Gen II Razor HD 4.5-27. I had one little (well 2) little frustrating moments with vortex. Ordered a pair of 34mm rings from Midway. What showed up were 35mm rings in 34 mm packaging . So I just called vortex directly. they said as soon as they get these rings back from me they’ll send me the correct rings and he had them on his desk. Ok cool. Mistakes happen and I know I’m not immune from them either. Plus it could of happened at Midway too so whatever. I send my rings in and a few days later I get my new rings.....only to find out that the rings they sent me were ALSO 35mm rings in a 34mm ring box. Lol So I called them back and told them again what happened and they were obviously apologetic and sent me an awesome T-Shirt, along with the correct rings for my troubles. Haha.

I've got their 2.5-10. It's nice, the glass is clear to my eyes and it was considerably more affordable then some of the other scopes in the same pattern. I now look at vortex whenever I scope shop. To me it's kind of like the Nikon low to mid price scopes, a good product for an affordable price.

FWIW the High end vortex LPV has been popping up a lot lately in AR forums, so you can dig around and see some of the discussion.

My Vortex StrikeFire, 2X7 scope and binoc have been good to go.
Good bang for the buck.

I have a red dot on my AR, I forget if its a SPARC or StrikeFire. PST 2FP on my F-class rifle. Both have been fine. VOrtex Razor is said to be a very fine optic. Never had the chance to look at one.

I have a Viper PST 1-4 MOA on my service rifle. It's bright, clear, and tracks correctly. M I st scopes in this price range get their glass from the same places, so I went with the warranty on this one.

I've got a Vortex Razor HD 1-6. Best optic I have ever used, bar none.

I've also got a little SparcAR red dot on a beater gun that sees more abuse than any of the rest of my rifles. $175 and it has held zero and been trouble free through a lot of bumping and bouncing around.

Very good value, including their top of the line stuff that is comparable to anything from Nightforce, Leupold, S&B.....

I haven't looked through many of their cheaper scope lines but if you ever have a problem they have the best warranty in the business.

I have a Vortex Sparc II on my AR and absolutely love it. Great price and awesome optic. Warranty is sweet as well.

Got my dad a Sparc AR version as well.

I have the StrikeEagle 1-6 and it is really nice.
I just wish I could find a killflash for it as Vortex doesn't make one.
