Does anyone remember or know where one of the earlier Bushmaster AR15s might be?

I am talking about the CAR15 types that had the permanently affixed 2 inch BTU on them?

I will try and find a photo tonight if thats not enough to go on.

BTU?

I remember the non AR bushmaster, and the bullpup version, but not sure what you are asking about.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Are you talking about the "Izzy" model? 14.5 barrel with a pinned 2" flashhider suppressor device?

Like this? But I remember the flashhider deal being a different shape, but maybe I'll wrong.

Found this one? Says Sold. I remember these but haven't seen one in some time. Didn't realize they would cost that though.

Or is it the XM177 model? The one you pictured wouldn't be a 2" hider. That should be a 5 or 5.5" one. iirc the XM177 was the 11" barrel with a 5.5" hider. There are several items on GB to look at for verification. Hope this helps.

If it was a true pre-Clinton ban era gun, that price was about right for someone in one of the states that grandfathers pre-ban ARs, like CT. It sucks they have to pay those ridiculous prices, but at least it allows them to own one.

Preban lowers are a hot commodity in CT and sell for $800. Glad I don't live there.

I do not know where I got that term "BTU" from. However, yes the forum is correct as always, it is indeed a 5.5 inch hider.

The troy one is VERY nice but pricey for this market. I will be looking around for something similar.
