Hey all-

I have been researching Sure Cycle recoil systems for shotguns. Reviews are good but I try not to rely on product reviews published by the company.

I am looking at them for the Beretta 1201FP as well as the Remington 1100.
For the Beretta, because it addresses what looks to be a weak link in the system: the recoil tube.
For the Remington, because the stock recoil spring isn't available (Wolff is) and the Sure Cycle is not expensive and looks interesting.

Anybody got one or shot someone else's?

Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

I decided to source the recoil springs and not change out the system. Hopefully it comes apart with a little heat and doesn't break.
