Depends on what you're talking about. A 20ga BRI style (hour glass shaped) sabot slug is very small. I couldn't find mine the other day but it's probably somewhere between .30 & .35 caliber? (I don't think quite that big, maybe 32ish). Small enough that after I cut one open I never bought them again.

Of course there are all sorts of other sabot slugs, some using pistol bullets, some using purpose made lead slugs.

turns out, 62 caliber ( per three or four web sites)
