Hose clamps might be my favorite. Razz

I've got keymod handguards with expensive light mounts.... etc.

I don't think they are any more solid than this.

You can tell that I torqued the barrel nut with a pipe wrench because the wrench that came with it was a piece of shit. Big Grin

I want to laugh, but my first thought was to wonder whether that would be a good way to attach a trimmed down ACE buffer tube pad to a CNC Warrior folding stock.

Years ago in highschool I bought one of those 19.99 laser pen pointers with a button. I taped it on to the side of my paint ball rifle.

It worked wonderfully in the pacific low light woods

Do you have any more clamps? There's plenty of room for a steak knife bayonet.

There's really nothing there to cut myself on. I guess there is a small amount exposed directly adjacent to the body of the flashlight, but my thumb stops on the rear of the light.

Looks good to me.

I make all my slings.

I make sort-of Mosin-Nagant straps that loop around the barrel in the FSB opening and the slot in the butt to allow a double side sling that can be used for both normal carry and center-back "biathlon"-type carry. I make a separate heat shield from leather to protect the sling.
works good.

Here's a hand stop I made using hose clamps. It's hard leather.
