Got my 700 back from Remington and trigger tested at 3.8 pounds. Gonna try adjusting it down to 3.
Anyone have feedback on either the Magpul stock for the 700 or the Bell & Carlson?

I have a 700 in a B&C M40. Great stock for the price. It also has a Timney 510. https://www.stockysstocks.com/...ng-action-stock.html My goal with that particular rifle was a precision rifle that wasn't too heavy or bulky for hunting. It's about 11 pounds with scope, which is acceptable to me, and it shoots really well for a Remington barrel.

Fantastic trigger.

I have a Timney in one AR too, and it's not nearly as nice as the one in my 700. Which is odd, considering that the AR trigger cost more money. It's not terrible, but it has more creep than it should at that price.
