I purchased some things from an estate sale, and one of them was the upper off of an Armalite AR10. I know I need an Armalite patterned lower, but was wondering if anyone knows of one that takes metric FAL mags? I know the RRA makes a lower that accepts them, but it wont work with the Armalite upper. This AR10 stuff can get complicated.

Is it an AR-10 A or an AR-10 B upper. That is important to know.

You have to look at it from the bottom. I found a website that explains it nicely with pictures.

In that case, you will need an ArmaLite AR-10B lower and some maganzines. You can get those at ArmaLite.

I have an Ar-10B and it's excellent. I grabbed a bunch of magazines for it. They are steel and they work great and last just a day over forever.

Brownells carries those magazines:

You can get a strpped lower from ArmaLite for $239 and go from there.
