If there is a panic because of either the midterms or Kavanaugh, it’s because people are stupid. Even if they take back the House, they won’t get 60 in the Senate, so getting their legislation through is tough, and even if it got through, it would almost certainly be vetoed. As far as Kavanaugh goes, even if he drops out, there is plenty of time to get another conservative through, even after the midterms. Remember, the current Congress runs into January, and the Republicans aren’t going to pass up a chance for a Supreme Court pick, no matter what.

The main worry for the next big panic is 2020, not now.

Not seeing a "panic"...but lower part kits as well as BCG parts are cheap and available right now (and have been in the almost three years since LDD posted this thread)...remember the often quoted proverb/poem...

"For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the message was lost.
For want of a message the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail."

It's quiet now and like Dwill104 said...people are still quite capable of being "stupid" Wink

Making the best of what ever comes our way
Forget that blind ambition and learn to trust your intuition
Plowing straight ahead come what may
And theres a cowboy in the jungle"

There are still deals out there right now to be found. I just purchased a NIB S&W M&P AR-15 Sport 2 for $454 out the door and had I the funds I would have purchased the Ruger AR556 he sold for $430...

Was only looking for a complete AR lower when I ran up on these AR’s and Ms. Sigarmsp226 gave me permission to pull a little from our savings to make this purchase.....Now is the time guys to buy...IMO.....Mark

I purchased this latest AR for my Grandson who is 6 years old right now with plans on giving it to him later in life because my concern is that when he gets to be 20+ years old - AR’s may be banned or to expensive to purchase....Mark
