Very dumb move of SIG, if hey really did away with the more affordable MCX.

MSRP on the MCX is 2200-2300.

The Virtus is lsiting at 100.00 or so more than the peon version of the MCX.

But Sig will make sure there are plenty of prototypes out to all of the gun media much, much earlier, so they can build up the buzz.

Where are you finding conversion kits??? And do the have the
9" barrels because I can't find the
9" .300 blkout or the 11" 5.56 any where

While look for the conversion kits, I now see they are in fact closing out he MCX at distributors. Makes me wonder if the new handguards will be interchangeable. If so, why not offer both for those who prefer one or the other. Its not like Sig is opposed to offering 40 variations of the same gun, sometimes in fisnishes that nobody likes.

??????? That would be a loser. If you meant a 320, they never intended to release one.

Yeah, I always base my gun buying decisions on some guys playing dress up as wanna be operators taking out tangos or whatever.

Wait, isn't the Virtus the MCX Gen 2, or is it Gen 3 with Gen 2 being the MCX with the new bolt carrier. I lose track.........

Just buy a BT APC9 and you don't have worry about it ... but according to Andy that may be like a gateway drug to a whole new platform ... which is why I haven't gone down that path Wink

If you really want something you'll find a way ...

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

I liked the fact that he had to write down 400 meters on the tactical pad with the tactical pen, to ensure he would survive this mission. Wink

I was about ready to pick up an MCX in 300BLK and checked Sigs web site and found, the new purchase I was about to make was already DISCONTINUED.
