SIG 516 BCG coatings and FA/SA BCG Login/Join

During Sigs 516 run does anyone know what coatings were used on the BCG?
Also, why doesnt SIG sell the FA BCG separately?
Seems if someone wants to run their upper ona registered lower, the FA BCG would be nice as an option to buy, or just be installed from the beginning.
