Finally finished this one today...

SAI scout converted with a Lothar Walther 6.5 Creedmoor medium weight barrel, dropped into a SAGE. Sadlak mount was chopped before I got it to clear the front rail. Nitrided the barrel, trigger group, op-rod, Sadlak mount and gas system (minus the Sadlak TiN piston). Installed a Delta-P titanium thread adapter and a muzzle brake. Should have this one out to the range in a couple of days.

Enjoy...

Tony.

The M14 of the future. Two things from the Cold War still going strong: The M14 and the B-52.

I'll post a report as soon as I get out. My range suffered wind, and ice damage from our storm last week and might be closed for another week. They have no power or water.

That just looks nasty (in the best possible way).

If I owned it, I might try out a Magpul UBR stock on it. Good stock and it would balance it out visually and weight-wise.

Nice work!

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

-Niccolo Machiavelli

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. -Mencken
