OK, so the BRO acronym is...well. Does anyone know anything about the Browe Reflex Optical - durability, is the bottom of the optic a low-mount mount, and where are they made?

The BRO does not list where it is made, Their BSO and BCO say made in the USA. I have my doubts about the whole thing being made here.

Link to their promotional pdf of their titanium line.

Yeah for $169.99 MSRP, you aren't getting any RDS made or assembled in the USA.

Likely a OEM manufacture by whoever makes them for SIG / PA / Holosun and everyone else selling a 'Micro RDS' for <$200.

That's what I was afraid of - I'm on a "don't buy ChiCom" kick these days, and could use something compact enough to cowitness well on an AK.

^^ I keep looking at the Freedom just because I like the 2 MOA dot, but I kinda wish they offered something more useful than just a red dot to make up for the size of the thing. Maybe we can talk SIG into looking for some kind of partnership in Oregon?

Sig's electro optics headquarters is 20 miles from Leuopold. The head of their optics used to work at leupold.
