Greetings all. I use a Berretta CX9 for HD and plinking purposes and would like to switch out my glass to a decent RMR that doesn't approach the cost of the rifle. I like the Trijicon RMR, but wondering if Vortex or Primary or ? have a suitable alternative. Thanks for any suggestions.

For cheap RDS I'd go Vortex Sparc AR.

I put a leupold deltapoint pro on my CX4. It’s been great so far. You can occasionally find it on sale for $350 or less. I looked at the Vortex offerings as well, and almost went that direction.

Burris Fastfire 3 is a cheap(er) alternative if you're looking for smaller RMR'ish type sight. I have a few of them on AR pistols and they seem ok.

I mounted a 1x Vortex Spitfire on my wife's Cx4 because she wanted the etched reticule and it has held up nicely. It is tall enough to almost entirely peer over the front sight dog ears and you can get a nice sight picture and a comfortable cheek weld. I know it is not the RMR you mentioned but it is a good option.

I have a Vortex Venom on my Buckmark and am very happy with it.

Thanks all. Leaning toward the Vortex Venom. Now waiting for a sale - at least for a few days/weeks.
